    Regular Routes

    Lakeshore Corridor Route

This route is approximately 10 miles long, with about 8.5 miles on the Ashland Rail Trail system, about 1 mile on-road, and half a mile on the Soo Line Oredock.

We often start this route going through the tunnel to the lake and choose our riding direction so that the wind will be at our backs.

Nearly 50% of our group rides go on this route!

    Beaser Route

This route is approximately 13 miles long and entirely on road and bike trails. This route is out and back, and is a great route for viewing deer and other wildlife!

We take the Safe Route To School trails by the Elementary and High Schools to get onto Beaser Ave. From there, it’s a very slight incline up for about 50 minutes. The roll back into town often takes less than 30 minutes.

    Graveyard Loop

This route has a scary climb! We hold off on this 11 mile route until at least June so that our folks can get their biking legs on them! This loop takes us up through the schools and out Sanborn Ave past the two cemeteries, then out on Summit past the Jewish cemetery. That climb sure is work, but it’s worth it to bomb down Whipperfurth as fast as we can! We then take 2 miles on the crushed limestone corridor back into town.
