New Rider Maintenance Class

October 10 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$20

New to bike maintenance? This 3-hour maintenance class for new riders will build your knowledge and confidence, teaching you how to inspect your bike, know when there’s a problem, and identify if it needs service. You’ll get hands on with your own bike to:

  • Remove wheel, tire and tube and inspect them
  • Lubricate your chain
  • Inspect and clean your sprocket
  • Basic rear derailleur adjustment
  • Inspect wheels and brakes for damage and alignment

This is a great starting point to learn your way around a bicycle and keep on top of preventative maintenance.

Only 6 spots available. Registration required. Register here.

Meet the Instructor: AlexWoman making silly face and wearing a bicycle helmet backwards.

Alex was born and raised in bike shop life, helping to unbox bikes as a four-year-old and eventually graduating to fixing flats and installing kickstands at fourteen. Now she acts as manager, and helps with on-the-spots and flats as needed. Alex enjoys the slower, brain-ular life of reading, writing, art, and dreaming up worlds that could be.
